2019: Group endorses Isa Ashiru for Gov
A civil society group Kaduna Change the Change (KCC) has endorse Alhaji Isa Ashiru Kudan for governorship of Kaduna State in the 2019 elections, saying he has “unique selling points as a candidate”.
In a media statement signed its Chairman of the group, Isiyaku Ibrahim the KCC said of all the governorship hopefuls so far, “only Hon Isa Ashiru can comfortably send incumbent governor Elrufai packing out of Sir Kashim House” because “Ashiru has enormous goodwill due to his grassroots connections and experience as a lawmaker who has seen it all”.
The statement noted that ” the best person to change the change in Kaduna will be Hon Ashiru Kudan who has enormous political capital and legendary generosity”.
The group said it conducted random sampling of opinions in Kaduna State before taking its final stand.
