BREAKING: Bello Turji’s Terror Empire Down, Top Commanders Killed

In a landmark offensive against terrorism in Nigeria’s North-West, the Nigerian military has dealt a devastating blow to the terror network of Bello Turji, one of the most wanted bandit kingpins in the region. A series of coordinated operations across Zamfara State have resulted in the elimination of Turji’s top lieutenants, seizure of key strongholds, and disruption of his arms supply chain.
According to credible sources, air and ground troops launched a deadly assault on Turji’s base in the Fakai Hills, a rugged enclave long considered impenetrable. In the raid, several of his fighters, including his deputy and blood brother, were neutralized, leaving the terrorist network scattered and demoralized.
In a follow-up assault under Operation FANSAR, security forces successfully captured the Tungan Fulani Hills—another major hideout that had repelled five previous offensives. More than 50 terrorists were killed in this push, including commanders loyal to both Turji and his brutal ally, Sani Mai Nasara.
The military also intercepted a massive arms cache in Kaura Namoda LGA, believed to be part of Turji’s weapons resupply route. Recovered items include machine guns, AK-47 rifles, ammunition, and other combat gear.
Despite these victories, Bello Turji remains at large. Military intelligence suggests he is on the run, switching locations to avoid drone and troop surveillance. But officials are confident that his arrest or elimination is imminent, assuring Nigerians that he has been effectively crippled.
The Nigerian government, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has applauded the military’s gallantry and pledged more strategic interventions. Communities in Zamfara and neighboring states have expressed relief, urging continued efforts to finish off remaining terror cells.
With these developments, Turji’s feared reign may finally be drawing to a close.
