Education is on the rise in Borno state. In the heat of the insurgency, public schools were deliberately targeted and torched. Governor Shettima’s response was to launch a rebuilding programme and he made it world class.
Amazing is the revolutionary educational infrastructure milestones of Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State. When I volunteered to take a few sample shots of primary and junior secondary school complex at Ngomari along Airport road in the state capital I was dazed. It was built on a virgin land that was not put to use for decades by previous administrations.
Question is: Can a University in your state compete with these?
