APC Convention: Group wants former lawmaker as Organizing Secretary
A civil society organization, the APC Solidarity Vanguard has urged the party’s members and delegates from Kaduna State to “unanimously endorse” Hon Mohammed Sani Ibrahim, aka M. S, for the seat of National Organizing Secretary at the National Convention billed for 14th May, 2018.
Leader of the group, Abubakar Musa Kajuru who made the call in a media statement he issued to newsmen in Kaduna on Monday, said “there is no better candidate than M.S in terms of technocratic savvy, sagacity and loyalty to the party”.
The group said that beyond loyalty, Hon M.S has vast experience in law-making and has built “enormous political goodwill across the country as a two- term legislator”.
The group said its independent investigation about the chances of Honor M. S has since revealed that his political goodwill and “unrivalled genorosity” will remain ever in his favor in the contest for the office of APC National Organizing Secretary.
The statement then noted: “people like Hon M.S are the kind of influential lawmakers we would need in 2019 to ensure very cordial relationship between the executive and legislators arms of the Nigerian government”.
