APC prospects brighten as Tinubu meets Kano’s Labour Party guber candidate, Ishaq
APC’s Presidential flagbearer Bola Ahmed Tinubu has met the Kano State Labour Party governorship candidate, Bashir Ishaq in what some observers described as a democratic bonus for the ruling party, once he officially decamps, ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The development is coming on the heels of massive decampment reports from some Northwest States, notably Sokoto.
A source disclosed that hose present at the meeting with the Labour Party Chairman include Tinubu’s VP – Kashim Shettima, LP Deputy Governorship Candidate, Peter Obi’s Kano State Campaign Coordinator.
The source said the hope of getting Alhaji Bashir on board the APC train with all LP executives is already high.
