Automatic ticket shot down as Kaduna APC primaries hold tomorrow
Politicians in Kaduna have been holding meetings with delegates and relevant stakeholders ahead of tomorrow’s APC primaries for House of Representatives and Senate aspirants.
A source in the party disclosed that plans are already in top gear as the aspirants hold strategy meetings with the supporters, saying “these nocturnal meetings could extend to the wee hours.”
The development came on the heels of tacit efforts by Kaduna State Governor, Nasir Ahmed Elrufai to clear all the obstacles in the way of having smooth APC primaries.
“Malam Uba Sani, the biggest contender in tomorrow’s primaries has since put finishing touches to his consultation efforts with strategic people across the Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone”.
Another source revealed that the APC State Headquarters on Ali Skill way has become a beehive of activities as party leaders put finishing touches to preparations for the primaries.
It is hoped that tomorrow’s APC primaries would expose candidates whose political fortunes are limited media attacks on the party leadership in Kaduna.
