Breaking: CBN to redenominate Naira in December

The Central Bank of Nigeria ( CBN) has said that plan is afoot to introduce new notes of the Nigerian naira by the 15th of December this year.
The apex bank’s Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele dropped the hint in Abuja today.
Highlights:
- Circulation to begin December 15 2022
*Old notes remain valid until January 31, 2023. - All holders of the old notes to begin returning old notes immediately.
*Bank charges for cash deposits suspended
