…Swears-in new SSG

Governor Uba Sani has again shaken Kaduna with four fresh and key appointments into the administration, to further drive strategic goals enshrined in the SUSTAIN Agenda.

The Governor has also sworn-in the new Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Abdulkadir Mu’azu Meyere, who was until his appointment a Permanent Secretary in the Nigerian Federal Civil Service.

A press release issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mohammed Lawal Shehu gave full details of the appointees’ trajectory, while noting that their appointments take immediate effect.

The Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani has appointed Yahaya Saleh Ibrahim as the Executive Secretary, Scholarship and Loan Board. He replaces Rilwan Hassan who has been redeployed and appointed as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Student Affairs. Additionally, Rev. Ishaya Jangado has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Religious Affairs, and Hon. Yunusa M. Ibrahim as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Support Groups. All the appointments are with immediate effect.

Dr. Yahaya Saleh Ibrahim is a long-standing academic, environmental public health and occupational safety expert, and astute administrator. From 2017 – 2018, he served as Administrator, of Giwa Local Government. He is currently the Director of, the Centre for Energy and Environmental Strategy Research (CEESR). Dr. Ibrahim holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Occupational Health and Safety, a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Remote Sensing Application, and a Master of Science in Public Health.

Rev. Dr. Ishaya Jangado is a highly respected cleric, teacher, administrator, and peace advocate. He is currently the President, of the Kaduna Baptist Conference, Secretary of, the Baptist Conference Presidents Fellowship Northern Nigeria, and Secretary of, the Nigerian Baptist Convention Presidents Fellowship. Rev. Jangado holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Missiology and a Master of Arts (M.A) in Organizational Leadership and Management.

Hon. Yunusa M. Ibrahim is an accomplished administrator, teacher, development worker, grassroots mobilizer, and public relations specialist. From 2016 – 2017, he served as Acting Chairman of, the Interim Management Committee, Giwa Local Government. He was Chairman of, the Committee on Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Giwa Local Government in 2015, and Supervisory Councilor, Education and Social Development, Giwa Local Government in 2021.
