Kaduna PDP Think-tank emerges
Some prominent members of the Peoples Democratic Party( PDP) in Kaduna have formed a political think-tank with Dr. Jibril Tafida as Convener, in order to ensure victory for the PDP in the 2023 general elections.
Dr. Tafida, made the birth of the “Kaduna PDP Think-tank” known to newsmen shortly after the inaugural meeting of the group in Kaduna on Friday.
Explaining the objective of the forum, Tafida said it is meant to find direction on the challenges of national rebirth under the current democratic system “through cross- fertilization of progressive ideas within the PDP”.
He went on to say that the outcome of regular brainstorming sessions by members of the Think-tank will be in the form of “workable solutions to the nation’s many challenges and how best to secure victory for our great party – the PDP, in the 2023 general elections”.
Dr. Tafida, who was PDP Electoral Panel Chairman that conducted governorship primaries in Akwa Ibom during the Obasanjo era, expressed optimism that the think-tank will deliver on the task it set for itself. “PDP’s victory is our ultimate goal”, Tafida stressed.
“Considering the level of intellectual exposure, political experience, grassroots base of each member of this think-tank, we are set to break new grounds in practical approach to political strategizing and electioneering campaigns”, Dr. Tafida declared.
