Elrufai’s cabinet: Kaduna stakeholders launch lobby for Sardaunan Badarawa
A powerful lobby has been mounted to persuade Kaduna state Governor Nasir Elrufai to consider the Kaduna Central Senatorial aspirant, Ibrahim Usman (Sardaunan Badarawa) for inclusion in his new cabinet.
The lobby initiated by four youth groups led by Movers for Good Governance and Justice, said they are lobbying the Governor to include Sardaunan Badarawa in his new appointments as he is competent and capable.
Making the disclosure, convener of the lobby Mallam Hassan Halliru Kwaru, said they are concerned due to the knowledge that Sardaunan Badarawa can add a great value to the progressive government of Nasir Elrufai in Kaduna.
“We are aware of our governor’s concern for the quality of people he works with, notably his close associate Senator-elect Uba Sani. So, we can vauch for the Sardauna’s unbridled loyalty to the APC as well as his conviction with the Elrufai ideals and ideology,” he said.
The Group said Sardaunan Badarawa is also a selfless politician who invests immense energy and resources in humanitarian services and the empowerment of women and youth.
“He single-handedly bankrolls a Foundation for Women & Children that is famous in awarding scholarships for the education of indegent children and general support for distressed families.
“He has also been one of the most tireless promoters and sponsors of the APC across Kaduna state in addition to numerous other philanthropic activities and concern for communal harmony,” Kwaru said.
