Exposed! How Taraba political thugs disguised as herdsmen kill people
[6/17, 4:54 PM] nasirdambatta: The Acting Director of Defense Information, Brig Gen John Agim, has tackled the Taraba state govt for rejecting the Army panel’s report on TY Danjuma’s allegations.
He said the govt refused for the people of the state to surrender their weapons, and pointed out that some politicians in the state use thugs who kill people and then label them as herdsmen .
Agim insisted that there is no collusion between the military and herdsmen; stating that a good number of the troops serving in the operation are from the region.
The acting director of defense information revealed the findings of the investigative panel set up by the Defence Headquarters following widely-reported allegation by Gen T.Y Danjuma that the army was colluding with herdsmen to attack other people in Taraba State.
The defence spokesman dropped the bombshell in an interview with Punch newspaper, which has since gone viral.
Agim also tackled the state government’s rejection of the Army panel’s report on Danjuma’s allegation; pointing out that though the panel conducted interviews with all those involved, it could not even get comments from Danjuma.
