From Mohammed Tanko, in Jos
The North Central Media Support Group for Buhari (NCMSGB), has urged the leadership of the Senate to direct its energy towards nation building and leave Senator Abdullahi Adamu, alone.
The NCMSGB, also tasked the Saraki led Senate, to halt their witch-hunt against the members of the Pro-Buhari group.
The group NCMSGB, National Coordinator, Ahmed Tukur, who made the call in a press statement, said the activities of Senator Adamu, and other pro-Buhari members in the National Assembly were in line with the aspiration of the people.
He said: “Majority of Nigerians are happy with the struggle by Senator Adamu and his group in protecting the sanctity of the Nigerian democracy, which gives the electorate hope of a better tomorrow.”
He called on all Nigerians to celebrate Senator Adamu’s group for protecting the interest of the nation, thereby writing their names in gold in the annals of the nation’s democratic history.
“Nigerians are taking stock with keen interest, the role of every elected official in the country most especially the national assembly,” the group warned.
It also said that the National Assembly should be neutral in taking decisions that affect each and every member of the legislature and avoid personal interest in its decision.
The group urged Senator Adamu, and other pro-Buhari group leaders not to relent in their effort in supporting Buhari and protecting the right of Nigerians.
