The leadership of the All Progressives Congress( APC) in Kaduna State has commended the transparency of Governor Uba Sani-led and endorsed the suspension of Women Leader – Maryam Suleiman over gross misconduct.

The party’s stance was contained in a media statement signed by Malam Tanko Wusono and issued to newsmen on Tuesday.

The party affirmed its unwavering support for Governor Uba Sani and lauds his commitment to transparent and inclusive governance.

The statement also noted that the APC was impressed by the governor’s recent initiatives aimed at alleviating economic hardship and fostering progress across the State. ” These include  grants to 7,500 SMEs, support for 5,000 farmers, cash transfers  and food distribution to vulnerable households “.

The party also expressed satisfaction over the speed with which he rescued the kidnapped Kuriga students and renewed effort in tackling insecurity,  ” including the establishment of Forward Operating  Bases” as capable on instilling “hope for a safer future for the State”.

While endorsing the sanction meted out to Women Leader Maryam Suleiman (Mai Rusau), the party described the action as reinforcing the party’s commitment  to upholding discipline and integrity within its ranks.

APC KADUNA ENDORSES GOVERNOR UBA SANI’S TRANSPARENT GOVERNANCE AND ASSERTS INDEFINITE SUSPENSION OF STATE WOMEN LEADER

2nd April 2024.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Kaduna chapter under the chairmanship of Air Commodore EK Jekada (rtd),Ph.D,  mni, reaffirms its unwavering support for Governor Uba Sani and lauds his commitment to transparent and inclusive governance, particularly as  highlighted during the Town Hall meeting  held on March 30, 2024.

The party further  commends Governor Uba Sani’s open and inclusive leadership style, evident in the diverse representation at the State’s  Town Hall meeting which provided a platform for discussing the state’s challenges, progress, and plans, reflecting the administration’s dedication to citizen engagement.

Similarly, the APC applauds the governor’s  recent initiatives aimed at alleviating economic hardship and fostering progress in the  state. These include grants to 7,500 SMEs, support for 5,000 farmers, cash transfers, and food distribution to vulnerable households. Additionally, the administration’s strides in promoting financial inclusion and literacy among the 2.5 million unbanked citizens are commendable.

The successful rescue of the Kuriga School Children underlines the president and the governor’s  administration’s commitment to enhancing security and safety in Kaduna State. His update on security issues  during the town hall meeting , including the establishment of more Forward Operation Bases, instils hope for a safer future for the State.

In response to recent actions that contravened  the APC constitution, the party affirms the indefinite suspension of Hajiya Maryam Suleman (Mai Rusau) as the state women leader and as a member of the All Progressives Congress. This decision reinforces the party’s commitment to upholding discipline and integrity within its ranks.

APC Kaduna once again  reiterates its steadfast support for the Uba Sani administration and urges the governor to remain focused amidst distractions from detractors. Together, we remain committed to the progress and prosperity of Kaduna State.
