A coalition of Elrufai support groups numbering five, have declared that the PDP in Kaduna State has nothing to offer the people.

In a media release signed by the leadership of the coalition and made available to Politics Today in Kaduna, they said their assessment of the electioneering campaign of the PDP across the 23 local governments of the State has revealed that the opposition party has failed woefully to show their blueprint for developing Kaduna.

In contrast, according to the coalition, the Elrufai administration has, “despite dwindling revenues in the last three years”,  turned around the fortunes of the State and revived local government administration to meet the critical needs of the grassroots. The coalition also celebrated what it described as “the revolution in educational sector of the State”, which had “opened a new page in the educational pursuit of the people, despite the economic challenges faced in recent times as a result of the 16 years recklessness of the PDP”.

The voalitcoa noted that it was regrettable that the PDP had no blueprint that could be an improvement on what  Elrufai had so far done  in the area of cattle-rustling problem and ethno-religious crisis.

Turning to the promises the PDP has thus far made during its electioneering campaigns in the State, the coalition said they(PDP) “concentrated on bringing back the unqualifued teachers affected by the reforms of the State government, including the traditional rulers that were found to have abdicated their responsibilities. “We expect nothing short of tangible action plan instead of campaigns based on empty rhetorics”.

The statement called on “all eligible voters to re-elect President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Nasir Elrufai”.

Signatories to the media release were the leadership of Elrufai/Hadiza Ambassadors (the Convener), Elrufai Support Group (ESG), Ambassadors for Change(AFC); Elrufai Women Support Group (EWSG) and APC National Social Media Movement (Kaduna State Chapter).
