Fresh facts have emerged that the plan of opposition PDP in Kaduna State to woo Labour Party (LP) has collapsed six days to the 2023 governorship elections in the State.

A source in Kaduna PDP who pleaded anonymity told Politics Today that LP leadership has ruled out alliance “not just with the PDP, but any other political party”. He went on to say that the LP leadership has high hope of making positive impact in the governorship elections.

The source explained that news of the planned alliance with LP was a media hype because the PDP in the State was running from pillar to post in order to make it work, “but the effort eventually hits a brickwall”.

Before now, the rumour of alliance between the PDP and LP went viral on social media, with PDP chieftains expressing confidence about winning the forthcoming governorship elections.
