NEF spokesman, Hakeem under fire over call for Buhari’s resignation

The National President of Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF) has rejected the call for President Muhammadu Buhari’s resignation as championed in a media release issued by the Director of Publicity and Advocacy of the Northern Elders Forum, Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, on Monday.
The AYCF said it was the honest position of the group it was misplaced and belated to start calling for the President’s resignation with less than a year to his exit from office.
The group argued that the call for Buhari’s resignation should have been a little earlier, suggesting that Dr. Hakeem’s call was belated and therefore out of tune with reality on ground.
