Nigeria will get rid of polio in two months – Rotary Club
In two months time, Nigeria would have wiped out polio from the country, thereby exonerating itself from the global rating as one of three nation’s where polio is an epidemic. The Rotary Club has stepped up campaign against polio around the world in recent years, reportedly reducing it to the lowest possible level ever in history.
This revelation was made by one of the special guests at the inauguration of the new President of Rotary Club of Malali Kaduna District, Rotarian Kayode Faturiyele, which held on Thursday at Kaduna Golf Club.
The event also featured heated discussions about the need for the Rotary Club of Malali to redouble its efforts in humanitarian activities.
The new president gave snippets into his blueprint for the Rotary Club of Malali, Kaduna District(9125) under his tenure from 2019 to 2020 through increased membership drive and innovative community development projects never done before by any humanitarian group.
