President Tinubu fires Nigeria’s Envoy to UK

President Bola Tinubu has recalled Nigeria’s Ambassador to United Kingdom Alhaji Sarafa Tunji Ishola.
The action of the Federal Government according analysts of diplomacy, came on the heels of controversies about whether or not his tenure had ended.
Following President Tinubu’s action a formal end to his tenure has now been established. A letter dated 31 August signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar directed Sarafa Ishola to start the process of disengagement in 60 days and return to Nigeria by 30 October 2023.
