Tudun Biri: Wild jubilation as Uba Sani Commissions Medical Centre, Distributes Rice, Fertilizers
Tudun Biri village in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State came alive with celebration as Governor Uba Sani led a high-powered delegation to the community, marking the first anniversary of the tragic military drone attack that claimed lives and displaced residents.
In a show of commitment to the community’s recovery, the Governor commissioned a 25-bed Primary Healthcare Centre and a state-of-the-art Skills Acquisition Centre. He also flagged off a Free, Comprehensive Medical, Surgical, and Ophthalmologic Care programme while distributing 300 bags of rice, 300 bags of maize, and 500 bags of NPK fertilizer to residents of Tudun Biri and neighboring villages.
“Our administration has prioritized human capital development as the surest path to lifting people out of poverty,” Governor Sani said during the event.
“The Skills Acquisition Centre will empower our youths with employable and entrepreneurial skills, while the Primary Healthcare Centre will address their health needs and boost productivity.”
The Governor’s visit also included an inspection of the ongoing 5.525-kilometer asphalt road linking Tudun Biri to the Airport Road. The project, he assured, would be completed within a few months, further enhancing connectivity and economic activities in the area.
Residents of Tudun Biri, led by their community leaders, expressed immense gratitude for the government’s interventions. “Governor Uba Sani has shown unparalleled commitment to our welfare. His empathy and actions have left an indelible mark on this community,” said Magaji Aliyu Adamu, a local leader.
Governor Sani highlighted ongoing social intervention programs, including entrepreneurship initiatives, agricultural input distribution, and housing projects for those displaced by the drone attack. “Tudun Biri occupies a special place in our hearts,” he said.
The day’s events were a testament to Governor Sani’s focus on impactful governance, showcasing his administration’s resolve to rebuild and empower communities across Kaduna State.
