Uba Sani Explodes! Tinubu Unstoppable
By Nasir Dambatta
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu faces no real opposition ahead of the 2027 general elections, insisting that the president remains unbeatable given his track record and the widespread support he commands across the country.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday, Sani dismissed the notion that the growing hardship in the country would threaten Tinubu’s chances in 2027. “There is no threat to the president’s re-election. Those who think he is losing ground are disconnected from the realities on the ground,” the governor asserted.
Sani, a former senator and staunch ally of President Tinubu, argued that the president’s economic reforms — though tough — are necessary for long-term stability. According to him, most Nigerians, especially at the grassroots, understand that the current pain is temporary and the policies are beginning to yield results.
He pointed to initiatives such as the N15 trillion infrastructure fund, social investment programmes, and the renewed drive for agricultural productivity as evidence that the Tinubu administration is laying solid foundations. “The opposition may try, but they have nothing concrete to offer,” Sani said.
The governor also brushed aside the hype surrounding potential challengers from the opposition, saying that while democracy allows for political ambition, “you need more than noise on social media or newspaper headlines to defeat a president with Tinubu’s legacy and network.”
Uba Sani’s emphatic stance reaffirms the confidence within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) that President Tinubu remains the man to beat in 2027 — and for him, the so-called threats are nothing more than political wishful thinking.
