Uba Sani leads with wide margin in all LGAs
As results trickle in from election centres across Kaduna state, the All Progressives Congress senatorial candidate for Kaduna central, Malam Uba Sani, is shown to be in a clear lead in all the concerned seven local government areas.
Beating his other major opponents from the PDP and the PRP with a wide margin, Uba’s supporters are said to have already began trooping to his house in jubilation.
The percentage of the gap between Uba and the other contenders which keeps widening, is believed to be a result of his party’s rigorous campaign and the record of Elrufai’s performance as Governor of the state. Women constitute the largest number of committed voters in the ongoing elections in the State and they also mobilized support for Uba Sani’s candidature with a door-to-door campaign style.
Results of the elections which were generally peaceful and fair, began coming in from all the seven local government areas that make up the Kaduna central district as early as 5pm with the collated results so far, putting Uba in a clear lead.
