A group, the APC Solidarity Forum(ASF) has pledged allegiance to President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Nasir Elrufai and Malam Uba Sani, ahead of 2019.

The group, in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Mohammed Garba Narayi and made available to newsmen in Kaduna, the ASF said candidates like Atiku Abubakar, or Isa Ashiru “don’t have the political goodwill required to win the 2019 election against the APC”.

The group noted that President Buhari’s popularity and integrity both at home and abroad, as well as “his ability to make sure that Nigeria broke away from the old order of politics of corrupt enrichment, politics of bitterness and looting spree of the public treasury is never in doubt. As for Governor Elrufai, he has already proven that it is possible to detach politics from development of infrastructure, education, healthcare delivery and relentless war against poverty caused by years of clueless leadership”.

The ASF also said the flagbearer of Kaduna Central Senatorial seat, Malam Uba Sani “stands tall against all his rivals, because of his years of experience, massive goodwill among the electorate of Kaduna Central, in addition to his legendary generosity and voluntary youth empowerment initiatives”.

The group noted that Malam Uba’s choice as a one-time spokesman of former President Obasanjo administration was “a testimonial of his capacity to positively deliver on that national assignment”, adding that this was partly the reason why “he is always in the news for good reasons”.

The ASF then called on the nation’s voters, those of Kaduna State and Zone 2, to close ranks with relevant stakeholders in ensuring that President Buhari, Elrufai and Uba Sani lead the nation and Kaduna State to the much-desired next level as from 2019″.

The group also hailed the Uba Sani Foundation for Empowerment of Underprivileged as “a rare effort of practically touching the lives of the poor people of this country”.
