Breaking: Group Hails Uba Sani for Kaduna’s Zero Violent Conflict in 2024
A group under the aegis of Uba Sani Legacy Projects Solidarity Assembly (ULEPSA), which commended Governor Uba Sani’s exceptional leadership for “the unprecedented achievement of a zero violent conflict in Kaduna State throughout the year 2024.
In a statement, ULEPSA Chairman, Comrade Habib Bello, commended the Governor’s proactive strategies in addressing the root causes of conflicts and fostering unity among Kaduna’s diverse communities. He highlighted Uba Sani’s emphasis on dialogue, inclusivity, and strengthened security as key drivers of the state’s peaceful year.
It would be recalled that the State has achieved a historic milestone, recording zero violent conflicts throughout 2024, according to a report by the Kaduna State Peace Commission.
“This success reflects Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to sustainable peace. His administration has shown that harmony can be achieved through deliberate policies and inclusive governance,” Bello said.
The Peace Commission’s report also attributed the achievement to collaborative efforts involving traditional rulers, religious leaders, and civil society organizations under the Governor’s guidance.
ULEPSA urged other states to adopt Kaduna’s model of trust-building and proactive engagement to resolve communal and ethnic tensions.
The group also called on stakeholders to continue supporting the Governor’s peace initiatives to ensure this stability endures for years to come.
Stakeholders said with this milestone, Governor Uba Sani has positioned Kaduna State as a shining example of how visionary leadership can transform volatile regions into models of stability and development.
