Breaking: Top American Firms Set to Invest in Kaduna, Says Ambassador Mills

Kaduna State is set to attract major investments from top American businesses following assurances by the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Richard M. Mills Jr., that investors are eager to take advantage of the state’s thriving economic environment.
Ambassador Mills made the disclosure during a courtesy visit to Governor Uba Sani at the Council Chamber of the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna, where discussions centered on strengthening partnerships between the U.S. Government and Kaduna State. The talks focused on capacity building, intelligence sharing, and investment in key sectors such as health, mining, education, and agriculture.
Commending Governor Sani’s administration for its inclusive and innovative peace-building strategies, Ambassador Mills noted that Kaduna’s healthcare model stands out and should be replicated across other states. He further praised the revitalization of the education and health sectors, as well as the state’s commitment to attracting investments through robust policy frameworks, attractive incentives, and unwavering political will.
The U.S. diplomat’s revelation that top American businesses are eager to invest in Kaduna underscores the growing confidence in the state’s economic direction.
In his response, Governor Uba Sani reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to deepening ties with the U.S. Government, ensuring a business-friendly environment for both existing and potential investors, and developing innovative programs and projects to enhance the living conditions of Kaduna residents.
With this endorsement from the U.S. Ambassador, Kaduna State is poised for significant economic growth, further cementing its reputation as an emerging investment hub in Nigeria.
