Breaking: Uba Sani Applauds First Lady’s Support to Kaduna’s Vulnerable

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has commended First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu for distributing palliatives to 2,400 less-privileged residents, including People With Disabilities (PWDs), orphans, widows among others.
At the event held at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Conference Centre in Kaduna, Governor Sani praised the First Lady as a “mother of the nation” dedicated to uplifting the poor and vulnerable.
He highlighted her impactful social intervention programs during her tenure as First Lady of Lagos State and her legislative contributions in the 9th Senate.
The Governor also emphasized his administration’s commitment to pro-poor policies, citing initiatives like the Financial Inclusion Programme, which has opened over 2 million bank accounts for vulnerable groups to access state and federal social programmes.
He urged Kaduna residents to use the festive season to foster peace, noting that the Kaduna Peace Model has become a benchmark for conflict resolution in Nigeria.
This collaborative effort between the First Lady and the Kaduna State government highlights a unified commitment to improving the welfare of citizens, particularly the most vulnerable, during the festive season and beyond.
