Group endorses Amami for Borno APC Chair
The Northeast Chapter of Northern Youth Unity Forum has lent its full weight behind Alhaji Mohammed Usman Amami for the chairmanship of Borno State APC.
Leader of the group, Usman Alhaji Salihu said in a media statement on Tuesday, that there is no better candidate for the APC chairmanship than Amami, who has committed personal resources and strong political contact s to ensure unity in the ruling party.
The group said Amami remains most deserving of the position because of “his knowledge of the history of how the APC rose to greatness”.
“Amami grew up in politics, is a powerful unifying force in the history of Borno politics. Above all, he has been quite accommodative, loyal, dedicated and acceptable to the power-brokers of Borno politics”, the group pointed out in the statement.
The Forum also noted that Amami is such a strong force in Borno politics because “he is widely loved and accepted both by youth and elders of Borno politics”
