Kaduna residents can finally breathe a sigh of relief as Governor Uba Sani kickstarts the completion of the long-abandoned Kabala Costain–Aliyu Makama link road today.

The project, which was left unfinished in December 2022 after only 800 meters (30%) of the road and a 278-meter dual bridge were completed, had been stalled due to outstanding debts amounting to ₦2.2 billion.

True to his commitment to completing all significant inherited projects, Governor Sani has now settled the debts and mobilized contractors back to the site. Once completed, the road will ease congestion along Junction Road and significantly improve connectivity.

The inherited road project has been a burning issue in Kabala Costain with residents saying the commencement of the project was a demonstration of the governor’s resolve to deliver long-awaited infrastructural relief to the people.

It would be recalled that the governor’s determination to finishing all the abandoned road projects in the State had reportedly approved a whopping N33 billion towards it.
