Special Assistant to the Kaduna State Governor on Lands, Zakari Lawal Barde, has attributed the resounding victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just-concluded by-elections to Governor Uba Sani’s compassionate leadership and track record of good governance.

Speaking in Kaduna on Tuesday, Barde said the outcome of the polls was a referendum on the governor’s people-centred style of leadership, which has restored confidence in government and deepened the bond between the ruling party and the electorate.

“Governor Uba Sani’s humility, accessibility, and compassion for the common man are the real drivers of this victory. The people of Kaduna rewarded a governor who listens to them, prioritizes inclusiveness, and delivers development projects that touch lives directly,” Barde said.

He noted that the administration’s commitment to social welfare programmes, infrastructure renewal, healthcare reforms, and youth empowerment have endeared the APC to the grassroots, making the party’s triumph inevitable.

Barde further commended the governor for building bridges across religious, ethnic, and political divides, stressing that Uba Sani’s governance style has brought a refreshing departure from politics of exclusion to one of genuine service and shared progress.

“With this victory, the people of Kaduna have clearly spoken: they trust Uba Sani, they believe in the APC, and they want continuity of compassionate governance,” he added.
