Kaduna’s water treatment chemicals have arrive Nigeria, says Thomas Gyang

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Public Works, Mr.Thomas Gyang has disclosed that clean drinking water project in the State has got a further boost with the purchase of 1, 000 tons of Aluminium Sulphate.
The Commissioner made this known at the weekend in Kaduna while answering questions from newsmen. He revealed that the 1,000 metric tons of Aluminium Sulphate has already arrived Nigeria, describing the development as yet another catalyst for the supply of potable drinking water.

He explained that long before the arrival of the 1,000 tons of Aluminium Sulphate into the country, there were series of meetings on the red to explore additional means of ensuring sufficient and clean water supply in the state under what he described as the “Greater Kaduna” project.

Observers of the water sector in Kaduna State have variously described the development as a major milestone in the recent history of supply potable drinking water.

The Commissioner , who said he was excited by the progress being recorded in water supply so far, added that this quality Aluminium Sulphate will be a huge blessing for the people of Kaduna State.

He noted that Governor Nasir Elrufai administration has assured of its unwavering commitment towards the continuous provision of potable drinking water for the citizens of the State, saying even the Federal Government may may queue into efforts of Kaduna State on better-improved State water resources agency.

Meanwhile, a group under the aegis of Kaduna APC Legacies Forum( KAPLEF) has congratulated Governor Nasir Elrufai on the arrival of the water treatment chemicals into the country, saying the State was indeed blessed.
